Title: The Effect of an Education Intervention on Self-Management in Middle-Aged African American Females with Type II Diabetes
Purpose: To determine if there is a difference in self-management in middle-aged African American females following education intervention on self-management.
Design: Longitudinal 3 data collection times pre-intervention/during and post. This is a quantitative study.
Self-efficacy (Bandura) is the theory/concept
Self-Efficacy for Diabetes
Repeated Measure ANOVA is the type of method for analysis.
The study in mind is for 90 participants who are african american women age range 45-65 with diabetes type 2. I have also attached the questionnaire that would be used in this proposal
