Finally, what do you think would happen under the law of your state in the following three situations?

Does Jill have to pay alimony? Explain.
2. Shakima and Norm have been married for 35 years. Shakima, who managed the household, has not worked outside of the home during these 35 years. Shakima has a college degree from 35 years ago but otherwise has no further education or training. Norm works as a real estate agent. Their children are grown and out of the house. Norm wants to move on with his new boyfriend. Norm has offered to give the house to Shakima but Norm does not want to pay any alimony. Does Norm have to pay alimony? Explain.
3. Glenda and Ruth are not married but have lived together for the past 20 years in the state of Colorado. Ruth moved out last week and went to live with her youngest sister. Glenda has relied on Ruth’s income for the past 18 years as Glenda is partially disabled and only can work from home making very little money. Glenda is asking for support from Ruth, but Ruth’s lawyer told Glenda that since they were never married, no judge would give Glenda alimony.

Introduce the overall methodological approach for investigating your research problem. As my study is a combination of qualitative study and comparative research.
Indicate how the approach fits the overall research design. your methods for gathering data should have a clear connection to your research problem. In other words, make sure that your methods will actually address the problem. One of the most common deficiencies found in research proposals is that the proposed methodology is not suitable to achieving the stated objective of your study.
Research philosophy-give a descriiption of your research philosophical stance.
Pilot study: describe how you will conduct your pilot study.
Describe the specific methods of data collection you are going to use, such as, surveys, interviews, questionnaires, observation, archival research. If you are analysing existing data, such as a data set or archival documents, describe how it was originally created or gathered and by whom. Also be sure to explain how older data is still relevant to investigating the current research problem.
Sample of the study: give a descriiption of your study sample.
Provide a justification for subject selection and sampling procedure. For instance, if you propose to conduct interviews, how do you intend to select the sample population? If you are analysing texts, which texts have you chosen, and why? If you are using statistics, why is this set of data being used? If other data sources exist, explain why the data you chose is most appropriate to addressing the research problem.
Explain how you intend to analyse your results. Will you use statistical analysis? Will you use NVivo/SPSS? Will you use specific theoretical perspectives to help you analyse a text or explain observed behaviours? Describe how you plan to obtain an accurate assessment of relationships, patterns, trends, distributions, and possible contradictions found in the data.
Validation and verification: give a descriiption of how you will validate your findings and the outcome of your study.
Ethics protocols: you should ascertain that all due ethical procedures will be followed during your research.
Describe potential limitations. Are there any practical limitations that could affect your data collection? How will you attempt to control for potential confounding variables and errors? If your methodology may lead to problems you can anticipate, state this openly and show why pursuing this methodology outweighs the risk of these problems cropping up.
Data collection: don’t forget to append your data collection tools (if you will be quantitative method-attach your survey; qualitative-attach your interview questions; if both qualitative and quantitative-if both you will be required to attach both your data collection tools).
Please note that it is important that you give a full descriiption of how you will carry out your research study. As mentioned in class, your method chapter should be written in present tense.

Razi and Kal wish to get married. Razi has never liked children and never wants to have children. Razi Health Science
Law Assignment Help Razi and Kal wish to get married. Razi has never liked children and never wants to have children. Razi and Kal have discussed this and both agree that children are not something either of them wants. They want to travel and enjoy life without being “tied down.”
Razi and Kal want to enter into a premarital agreement. Kal has come to your office because Razi is contemplating adding the following clause into the agreement:
The parties agree not to have children. In the event Kal becomes pregnant, she shall terminate the pregnancy. If for any reason she shall fail to terminate the pregnancy, the Razi shall not be liable for child support.
Additionally, Kal is very wealthy. Razi has a good job, but it pays minimum wage.
You are tasked to write a memo on what your supervising attorney should advise the client, Kal. Your supervising attorney needs to know the status of the law regarding premarital agreements in your state, and what course of action to take in drafting a premarital agreement for the couple. What steps need to be taken to best ensure that the agreement will be enforced. What are the formation requirements? What are the kinds of provisions that he or she should consider including in the agreement? What exactly are the benefits of getting married? What are the requirements for getting married and can a marriage be annulled?
You must research the law in Texas, discuss the requirements for a valid and legal premarital agreement, and provide analysis as to whether the above is a permissible clause. You should include your reasoning as to why this is or is not a permissible clause and what, if anything, should be changed. Research case law in your home state on this issue and premarital agreements.
If you would like to include your opinion, do so separately at the end.

Mary ran a watch repair shop. A customer brought her a very unusual and costly watch to repair. Mary knew that she could not fix the watch, but out of curiosity she wanted to inspect it. Therefore, she told the customer that she could do the job and took the watch.
Michael rented the shop and also an apartment above the shop to Mary. That night as Michael happened by, he saw a light on in the shop and finding the door unlocked, decided to investigate. While looking around the shop, Michael spotted the watch. Supposing that the watch belonged to Mary, and recalling that she was much behind in her rent, Michael decided to take the watch and keep it until Mary paid.
Just as Michael was leaving the shop, Mary entered. Afraid of an altercation, Michael tossed her the watch and ran out. He was already well beyond throwing distance when Mary, by now enraged, picked up a heavy pendulum weight and hurled it at Michael. The weight fell harmlessly to the ground.
