MGMT 412 AIU Multidisciplinary Integration of Factors Case Study | WriteDen a level english language essay help: a level english language essay help
Risk is inherent to every project. Some risks are more likely to occur than others, and some will have a greater impact to the project if realized. Although you cannot account for every risk, a thorough risk analysis and assessment can help minimize the liabilities of the project and ensure that your projects are successful.
Refer to Case 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4 of your text. Each of these cases presents you with a project scope statement for a fictional project. You are to pick 1 of these cases on which to perform a risk analysis. After picking a case of your choice, you should address the following:

Overview
You have been contracted as a human resources (HR) consultant by a limited liability company (LLC) in Wilmington, Delaware, to solve their internal issues. This U.S. LLC is a branch of a Singaporean software solutions provider with 140 employees and $1M in revenue per year. The chief executive officer (CEO) of the Singaporean organization wants to open new markets in the United States, gain access to new customers, diversify risk, leverage resources, and increase profits. To meet these goals, the CEO tasked a vice president (VP) to establish and take charge of the U.S. LLC.
Unfortunately, the VP’s efforts to replicate the parent organization’s standard operating procedures (SOP) while creating a unified culture across both units have been unsuccessful. The CEO’s vision of expanding to the U.S. market remains unfulfilled. Team members of the call center in Wilmington, Delaware, and the sales and marketing divisions of the company are unhappy about receiving conflicting feedback from the VP and the management team. Also, communication issues between U.S. and Singaporean employees are resulting in low employee morale at the U.S. branch, as indicated by the Employee Engagement Survey and exit interviews. The VP has asked you to produce a plan that can solve the conflicts in the organization. Before you start, you want to inform the VP about potential reasons why an organization fails to change and suggest ways to avoid them.
Prompt
Write an email to inform the VP about some reasons for failure to change, which may influence the change readiness of the employees at the U.S. branch. Consider organization data and research material to identify reasons that are relevant for the U.S. branch of the organization.
Specifically, you must address the following criteria:
Identify the most prevalent reasons for failure to change.
Describe two reasons in detail.
Cite appropriate resources from your reading to justify your answer.
Describe two consequences of failure that can affect the U.S. branch.
Consider the organization data in the form of Leaders’ Self-Evaluations, Employee Engagement Surveys, and Exit Interviews.
Which data points indicate resistance to change?
Which data points indicate readiness to change?
Describe one professionally researched best practice to avoid failure to change.
What are the different ways of dealing with change resistance?
Which is the best method to avoid organizational change failure?
Guidelines for Submission
Submit a Word document using double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. This assignment should be 1–2 pages in length and include references cited in APA format. Consult the Shapiro Library APA Style Guide for more information on citations.

Assignment: Analysis of a Pertinent Healthcare Issue
The Quadruple Aim provides broad categories of goals to pursue to maintain and improve healthcare. Within each goal are many issues that, if addressed successfully, may have a positive impact on outcomes. For example, healthcare leaders are being tasked to shift from an emphasis on disease management often provided in an acute care setting to health promotion and disease prevention delivered in primary care settings. Efforts in this area can have significant positive impacts by reducing the need for primary healthcare and by reducing the stress on the healthcare system.
Changes in the industry only serve to stress what has always been true; namely, that the healthcare field has always faced significant challenges, and that goals to improve healthcare will always involve multiple stakeholders. This should not seem surprising given the circumstances. Indeed, when a growing population needs care, there are factors involved such as the demands of providing that care and the rising costs associated with healthcare. Generally, it is not surprising that the field of healthcare is an industry facing multifaceted issues that evolve over time.
In this module’s Discussion, you reviewed some healthcare issues/stressors and selected one for further review. For this Assignment, you will consider in more detail the healthcare issue/stressor you selected. You will also review research that addresses the issue/stressor and write a white paper to your organization’s leadership that addresses the issue/stressor you selected.
To Prepare:
Review the national healthcare issues/stressors presented in the Resources and reflect on the national healthcare issue/stressor you selected for study.
Reflect on the feedback you received from your colleagues on your Discussion post for the national healthcare issue/stressor you selected.
Identify and review two additional scholarly resources (not included in the Resources for this module) that focus on change strategies implemented by healthcare organizations to address your selected national healthcare issue/stressor.
The Assignment (2-3 Pages):
Analysis of a Pertinent Healthcare Issue
Develop a 2 to 3 page paper, written to your organization’s leadership team, addressing your selected national healthcare issue/stressor and how it is impacting your work setting. Be sure to address the following:
Describe the national healthcare issue/stressor you selected and its impact on your organization. Use organizational data to quantify the impact (if necessary, seek assistance from leadership or appropriate stakeholders in your organization).
Provide a brief summary of the two articles you reviewed from outside resources on the national healthcare issue/stressor. Explain how the healthcare issue/stressor is being addressed in other organizations.
Summarize the strategies used to address the organizational impact of national healthcare issues/stressors presented in the scholarly resources you selected. Explain how they may impact your organization both positively and negatively. Be specific and provide examples.

The Role of Women
Sundiata’s epic shows how women are born and grow in male-dominated communities. For instance, women’s rights were always violated, and society demanded they be submissive. The women were perceived as less superior in some instances, but they got an opportunity to demonstrate their strengths. The women have to stand out even if it costs them paraffin and water to claim glory against the women. They do everything to maintain their position as preferred wives in society. Some of them possess high skills and knowledge. For instance, Sogolon ensures that she is a good mother to her son by informing him of the dangers he is facing. The way women are treated in Sundiata is similar to our culture, where women have defied so many odds to be where they are(Tsaaior 1-2). For the longest time in society, patriarchal values oppressed women, but many have overcome the hurdles by showing their strengths at every opportunity they get.
The passage that shows the role of women in society is found on page 18 of the book in the chapter “The Lion’s Awakening”(Niane 18). It talks about how Sassouma realized that Sogolon preferred to increase the danger through male domination. At the time, the women’s position was only doing the house chores and limited to the participation in other activities in the society. Such treatment of the women shows that society despised them. It shows that when the women are put under oppression, they suffer, and no one can save them. At the same time, it is through the male domination that the women suffered. Therefore, society valued men more than women, which contributed to their low status.

FIRST: Unit 1B’s introduction to the Five Great Themes of World Literature states with regard to the hero: “The surest way to understand what a culture of the past most values is to focus on what it considers heroic, in that a culture recognizes its heroes as embodying its most important ideas, the values that are essential.” Discuss the diverse values that our two epic heroes, Rustem and Dante, embody.
Which values embodied by these epic heroes are endorsed or celebrated by their societies?
Are any of their values condemned or rejected by their societies?
Illustrate your discussion with specific examples of the heroes’ obligations to their societies and what their values reflect about their cultures.
One passage you should include in your discussion reflects Dante’s feelings at the beginning of his journey:
110 I bowed my head and held it low at last
111 the poet said: ‘What are your thoughts?’
112 In answer I replied ‘Oh,
113 how many sweet thoughts, what great desire
114 have brought them to this woeful pass!’ (Canto V).
SECOND, create a slide presentation of your argument. Include both text and images that illustrate and enhance the points you are making. Use the following as an outline of what to include:
Explain the general topic and relevant themes (e.g. heroes, suffering) and any relevant terms for that topic (suggested 2-3 slides).
Apply that topic to both Shahnameh and to Inferno. Give specific examples and quotes from the texts to support your analyses (suggested 5-7 slides). You may want to check the feedback from your previous assignment to make sure you improve upon your earlier efforts.
Your final slide should be your Works Cited slide, with both texts in MLA format.
THIRD, and finally: you’ll practice briefly presenting a few elements of your project. . NOTE- I will do the reading and presenting of the power points based on notes listed in the PowerPoint. Instead, trust that your reader has already looked through your slides and use the time to discuss what you yourself found compelling about this project.
For example:
what do you feel is the most fascinating part of your presentation, and why?
What do you understand about these epics now that you didn’t before you worked on this project?
What interesting connections have you made?
If you had time to continue working on this project, what might you explore next?
Shoot for a total presentation time between 2-3 minutes.

Dante’s text is written to add the Christian context because it puts earthly sinners, denoting the torment in hell based on their earthly experiences. Dante believed that for humans to have a perfect social and political state, there must be peace in the nation. Peace is achievable when humans are not selfish or do not work against fellow human beings with the intent of harm. Dante’s quest is universal as he not only talks about himself but the people. His poem worked to represent the whole universe in a call to help them avoid sin.
What are some political and social issues of the time, and how do characters such as Ciacco, Bocca, Archbishop Ruggieri, or even Dante exemplify these issues? How does the church of the time judge them, in Dante’s opinion, the author of the poem?
Ciacco believes that envy will end in war, and all the contemporaries will be punished in hell for their sins (Dante Alighieri, paragraph 37). Bocca the Ghibelline, by blood, is frozen in the depths of hell after the betrayal in a key battle. The likes of Archbishop Ruggieri and Ugolino are frozen, with one chewing on the other’s skull (Dante Alighieri, paragraph 37). They both get frozen in the lowest parts of hell; the Archbishop for imprisoning Ugolino, his sons, and his grandson, letting them do without food till they starve to death and Ugolino for helping the Archbishop weaken the Guelf competitors.
The passage.
“Through every city shall he hunt her down?
Until he shall have driven her back to Hell,
From that place whence envy first did let her loose.”
How does your passage illustrate a conclusion about the judgment of human actions as seen in the Inferno?
Dante discusses that after the people are dead, they shall be judged and would either be thrown to hell or be saved in purgatory (Franke, 15). He claims that judgment shall come, and the souls shall either stay in hell or purgatory for the longest time. The damned will suffer.
The significance of understanding the Medieval Italian culture
Dante’s explanation and depiction of heaven, hell, and purgatory inspire Western Art. Artists from all denominations and faith have tried to reinterpret the divine comedy to address issues like politics, society, and artistic principles that affect today’s world. Dante’s poem creates an effective means to appreciate medieval literature. Dante’s explanation of the afterlife is an influential piece of literature and became a center ground for the modern Italian language. He altered the way religion and the afterlife were reflected.
The relationship between secular and sacred
Dante’s Inferno is an analogy of earthly sinners and the torments they go through in hell (Franke, 18). The poem is rounded up with religious and secular ideas because of the punishments in hell.
Summary
Dante’s poem is meant to help everyone overcome the problem of sin and discover God’s love. In his poem, he gets us through the consequence of sin that takes us to hell, where all evil receives its punishment.

Being a champion of change means promoting exploratory efforts and leading or supporting product evaluations to address inefficiency within the organization. This might be done by suggesting alternative technologies or processes, and by being a proponent of pilot testing promising solutions or software options in a live environment, such as volunteering to pilot test possible candidate technologies within one’s own department.
Today, you are the CFO of DargeanGrix, Inc. If needed, review the DargeanGrix Business Scenario document. You’ve identified an area in the organization in which you think things can be improved, and you have an idea about how this can be done. Consider how you would champion this change, and think about what you would need to present to your collegues in senior management in order to make the case for exploring the idea for the change in DargeanGrix.
Make a video argument to your senior leader peers, and present your reasoning for your improvement idea. Discuss the change, technology, or new process that the idea entails. Post the completed video to the discussion forum. You may include a slide presentation to supplement your video argument.
The video should be at least 3 minutes and no more than 5 minutes in length and cover the following elements:
Explain your idea for improving a DargeanGrix process.
Explain how your idea would help improve the process, department, or organization.
Explain why your idea can help move the organization or department forward.
Discuss what you are willing to do to support the exploration of the idea (e.g., research the possibilities, be the pilot test department, lend team members to the project development, etc.).
Explain how these elements will help provide additional information or other possibilities for improving the process, department, or organization.
Your goal in the video is to sell the idea to your senior leader colleagues and create buy-in for exploring your idea and your approach.
Instructions for recording or uploading a video:

Freedom of Assembly/Religion – writing an essay help: writing an essay help
Prior to posting your primary response to this discussion watch The First Amendment (Links to an external site.) and the 002 History of US law and what is the law? (Links to an external site.) videos and review all the one-page Supreme Court decisions listed in the Required Resources section.
Respond to the following case scenario:
Reverend William B. Slick is the spiritual leader of the Church of the Jurassic Spirit (CJS). CJS doctrine claims that every invention since the dinosaurs has been inspired by the devil and that members must return to the spirit of the Jurassic period in order to be purified. The primary ritual is to publicly bathe in the essence of the dinosaurs (oil). Capital City follows the same format for its permits used by the City of Atlanta, Georgia (i.e., City of Atlanta’s Assembly Permit Application (Links to an external site.)). The CJS applies for a permit for 500 of its members to assemble to bathe in oil in Capital City Park. CJS plans to march to the Capital City River to dump the oil, thereby “returning it to the Earth.” The mayor of Capital City despises the CJSers, because he feels that their ritual is a waste of petroleum, which is a diminishing resource. He also feels that the dumping of the oil will pollute the river. The police chief of Capital City hates the idea of 500 CJSers bathing in oil in the park and fears their march to the river will cause counter demonstrations and possible violence. The permit is denied. The CJSers appear to perform their ritual anyway and are all arrested.
Research First Amendment cases involving free exercise of religion and freedom of assembly.
If your last name begins with A through M, address the following in your primary response this week:
Whether Capital City has violated the CJSers’ free exercise of religion.
Whether Capital City has violated the CJSers’ right to freely assemble.
If your last name begins with N through Z, address the following in your primary response for this week.
Whether city ordinances that require permits for a march violate the First Amendment.
What are the limits of the free exercise of religion clause are.
Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Support your claims with examples from the required material(s) and/or other scholarly resources, and properly cite any references. Address information that is missing to better understand the position of either side in this confrontation and whether different reasoning for either the CJS’ or Capital City’s actions would strengthen their respective positions.

Case 1: Using an E-mail Address to Determine a Networks Operating System
Alexander Rocco Corporation has multiple OSs running in its many offices. Before conducting a security test to determine the vulnerabilities you need to correct, you want to determine whether any OSs are running that youre not aware of. Christy Fitzgerald, the network administrator/security officer, is resistant to giving you information after he learns youre there to discover network security vulnerabilities. He sees you as a threat to his position. After several hours of interviews, you can ascertain only that Mikes personal e-mail address is vetman2601@gmail.com, and an old RHEL server is running on one of the companys systems. Based on this information, answer the following questions:
Questions:
a. What tools might you use after learning Mikes e-mail address?
b. What can you determine by entering Mikes e-mail address into Google? What about just the handle vetman2601?
c. Could the information you learned from Google be used to conduct vulnerability testing?
d. Write a memo to the IT manager, Bob Jones, about the potential issues with running a old RHEL 5.8 server, and mention the importance of patch hygiene. Make sure your memo explains how you gathered this information and offers constructive feedback. Your memo shouldnt point a finger at any company employees; it should discuss problems on a general level.

Case 2: Using Dumpster-Diving Skills
You have observed that Alexander Rocco Corporation uses Alikas Cleaning Company for its janitorial services. The companys floors are vacuumed and mopped each night, and the trash is collected in large bins placed outside for pickup on Tuesdays and Fridays. You decide to visit the dumpster Thursday evening after the cleaning crew leaves. Wearing surgical gloves and carrying a large plastic sheet, you place as much of the trash on the sheet as possible. Sorting through the material, you find the following items: a company phone directory; a Windows NT training kit; 23 outdated Oracle magazines; notes that appear to be programs written in HTML, containing links to a SQL Server database; 15 company memos from key employees; food wrappers; an empty bottle of expensive vodka; torn copies of several resumes; an unopened box of new business cards; and an old pair of womens running shoes.
Question
a. Based on this information, write a report explaining the relevance these items have. What recommendations, if any, might you give to Alexander Rocco management?

Journal 215 | essay help online free: essay help online free
Journal 215
Overview
In this journal activity, you will explore the ways in which use of language influences perceptions of human behavior.
Scenario
To better understand the elements that shape our view of human abnormality, Jamal has begun to reflect on his own lived experiences. During Jamals adolescence, no element seemed more powerful to him than language. Jamal clearly recalls boys taunting him as he prepared for gym class, Hey freak, youre in the wrong locker room! Likewise, when boys and girls would disperse into gender-specific groups, Jamal often found himself gravitating toward the girls because they didnt appear to be as mean as the boys; however, his female peers felt that he was too weird to be included in their clique. For Jamal, these emotionally painful events caused him to experience feelings of confusion, ostracism, isolation, and despair.
For as long as he can recall, Jamal has had difficulty identifying with societys views of gender and sexuality. He has never felt as though he is singularly male or female; these categories have simply never aligned with his idealized self-concept. Likewise, Jamal has never felt as though he was exclusively gay. On the contrary, he has always felt as though he could fluidly move between sexual orientations, depending on the situation and context, as though human sexuality existed on a spectrum from heterosexual to homosexual. For these reasons, Jamal has recently begun to identify as bisexual and gender non-binary and, for the first time in his life, feels normal.
The word abnormal carries a lot of humanistic weight. Like a practitioner who is bound by ethical codes of conduct to ensure that no harm is done within the scope of clinical practice, each of us has a moral obligation to ensure that we dont inflict psychological harm on othersintentionally or unintentionallywith the language we use when discussing gender and sexuality. As we learn to value our individual differences, one idea resonates: Its our implicit responsibility to embrace all people with compassion, empathy, and acceptance as they attempt to be what comes most naturally: themselves.
Prompt
The following resources support your work on this activity:
: You may use this template to complete the Module Six Activity assignment.
: This resource was created to help you find psychology related content.
For this journal activity, you will focus on the influence of language on shaping perceptions of human behavior. Specifically, consider how the words we use can have a dramatic positive or negative influence on how we view the biological, psychological, and social orientations of others. Respond to the following prompts with a minimum of 3 to 5 sentences. Address the rubric criteria listed below and support your answers with a credible source when necessary.
Describe how the words we use to discuss gender and sexuality shape our perception of what is considered normal or abnormal. Provide an example within your response.
Imagine engaging in conversation with family, friends, or colleagues and eventually realizing that they were inadvertently promoting stereotypes about gender or sexuality. Describe the thoughts and feelings that you might experience during such a conversation.

Foundations of Emergency Management | my essay help uk: my essay help uk
Question: Why is evacuation planning so difficult? What kinds of things can go wrong during an actual evacuation? What do you think can be done to minimize these potential setbacks?
Instructions:
There are a few important rules to observe during the Group Discussion process: 1) no profanity or offensive language; 2) no personal attacks, and 3) be courteous and professional when you respond to one of your classmates – part of the education process involves disagreeing without being disagreeable, which is not synonymous with disrespect. However, if I read something that I don’t think is appropriate, then I will immediately remove it from the forum.
The following are the four (4) grade ingredients for each Group Discussion throughout the Semester:
First, choose a topic, conduct research, and write at least three (3) good paragraphs in your response.
Second, always include your personal perspective and comment on the subject matter of the topic you have chosen to discuss. Do not merely define the topic/subject matter.
Third, always be sure to cite a legitimate reference source related to your research findings – it’s ok to submit a direct quote but be sure to cite the reference in a formal APA (7th edition) bibliography format at the end of the assignment. The course textbook Introduction to Emergency Management (Haddow, 2020 / 7th edition), is acceptable as a reference, as you bought it and should use it accordingly. Again, however, be sure to cite other relevant sources. DO NOT simply cut/paste information, nor ever use Wikipedia, or you will reap what you sow!
Fourth, late submissions will not be accepted and will result in loss of grade points for the course.

Today, you are the CFO of DargeanGrix, Inc. If needed, review the document. Youve identified an area in the organization in which you think things can be improved, and you have an idea about how this can be done.
Write a script. Name and save your script as a Word document. (The script will be used for reference while you record your video and may be used as a transcript for accessibility purposes.)
Paste your script within your initial post in this discussion forum.

Imagine your team has been selected to consult for a community health care outreach organization that cares for homeless and low-income individuals. Because of the transient nature of these individuals, it is nearly impossible for them to maintain a comprehensive and easily accessible medical record. Your organization believes that personal health record (PHR) technology could help their constituents have access to a medical record anywhere and anytime. A local philanthropist has donated $10,000 toward this effort. The organization’s board has evaluated a variety of alternatives for PHR, recognizing the acquisition and operation costs and the limited available budget. They have decided the most cost-effective approach to providing PHRs is by using the PHR developed by the Veterans Affairs (VA) Health System that is available for free to anyone. Your goal is to develop a project management plan for the implementation of a web-based personal health record using the VA Health System’s MyHealth-e-Vet PHR.
Review the Business Case Summary for additional details regarding this cumulative project that is due in Week 5. Each week, your team will work on a different section of the plan. Your team must submit the draft of the assigned section as well as the team’s progress report to your facilitator each week.
Develop your project management plan using the CDC’s Project Management Plan Template.
Complete the following sections of your project management plan:
Section 1: Introduction
Section 2: Executive Summary of Project Charter

METHODS OF DATA COLLECTION: Identify the Three Methods by which Nurses Obtain Community Assessment Data.
Community assessment data may be gathered in a variety of ways by nurses. For the fullest picture of a community in terms of health, nurses generally combine many different methods. The most apparent source of community knowledge is the government (Community toolbox, n.d.). Information from local companies and community groups is also available. To better serve their clients, companies may keep track of community statistics. It’s also possible for residents to provide vital information about their town.
Observation is a technique that nurses employ to collect data for community assessments. Go out into the community and observe people and their surroundings. For the nurse, this might be an excellent opportunity to acquire a sense of the community’s demographics and culture. Interviews are another way that nurses collect community assessment data. Individual or group discussions with members of the community are part of this process (Community toolbox, n.d.). This is a terrific approach to learning about the town and getting a feel for the people that live there. Finally, surveys may be used by nurses to gather information about the state of the community. People in the community will be asked to fill out a questionnaire as part of this process. This may be a terrific approach to quickly getting a significant quantity of data from many individuals. It’s common for nurses to utilize a mix of these strategies to gain the fullest picture of a community’s demographics (Community toolbox, n.d.).
As many people as possible should participate in stakeholder interviews to get a clear picture of the prospective community concerns and the perceived repercussions. There are a variety of ways to learn about your town. You may get information about the population, economics, and infrastructure of a community from the government. Information from local companies and community groups is also available. Keeping track of community information may help nurses better understand their patients’ demands and decide where to establish new operations. To better serve their goals, community groups may also gather information on their members and the community. Community members may have great information about their area and may be a good source of information for others.
The study of human societies using systems thinking has grown in popularity in recent years. The reason for this is that communities are made up of people who interact with each other and their surroundings. Systems thinking may help us better understand human societies and develop strategies to enhance their performance (Wells, 2020). If, for example, one section of a community is affected by a change in another area of the community, systems thinking may help us develop solutions that take this into consideration. Systems thinking may also help us better comprehend the function of communities in human systems (Wells, 2020).

Diversity and Health Assessments
May 2012, Alice Randall wrote an article for The New York Times on the cultural factors that encouraged black women to maintain a weight above what is considered healthy. Randall explained—from her observations and her personal experience as a black woman—that many African-American communities and cultures consider women who are overweight to be more beautiful and desirable than women at a healthier weight. As she put it, “Many black women are fat because we want to be” (Randall, 2012).
Randall’s statements sparked a great deal of controversy and debate; however, they emphasize an underlying reality in the healthcare field: different populations, cultures, and groups have diverse beliefs and practices that impact their health. Nurses and healthcare professionals should be aware of this reality and adapt their health assessment techniques and recommendations to accommodate diversity.
In this Discussion, you will consider different socioeconomic, spiritual, lifestyle, and other cultural factors that should be taken into considerations when building a health history for patients with diverse backgrounds. Your Instructor will assign a case study to you for this Discussion.
To prepare:
Reflect on your experiences as a nurse and on the information provided in this week’s Learning Resources on diversity issues in health assessments.
By Day 1 of this week, you will be assigned a case study by your Instructor. Note: Please see the “Course Announcements” section of the classroom for your case study assignment.
Reflect on the specific socioeconomic, spiritual, lifestyle, and other cultural factors related to the health of the patient assigned to you.
Consider how you would build a health history for the patient. What questions would you ask, and how would you frame them to be sensitive to the patient’s background, lifestyle, and culture? Develop five targeted questions you would ask the patient to build his or her health history and to assess his or her health risks.
Think about the challenges associated with communicating with patients from a variety of specific populations. What strategies can you as a nurse employ to be sensitive to different cultural factors while gathering the pertinent information?
By Day 3 of Week 2
Post an explanation of the specific socioeconomic, spiritual, lifestyle, and other cultural factors associated with the patient you were assigned. Explain the issues that you would need to be sensitive to when interacting with the patient, and why. Provide at least five targeted questions you would ask the patient to build his or her health history and to assess his or her health risks.

Instructions
The President and Crisis Management
Today is your presidential Inauguration Day. You were elected as president last November by a slim margin in both the popular vote and the electoral vote. You attended a worship service this morning with your family and about a dozen high-ranking members of the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate. Then, you and the current president took a ride in a convertible car to the U.S. Capitol, where you were sworn in as the new president of the United States. It is now official; you are the president!
As you and your family are enjoying the parade, your new chief of staff and one of the key military advisors who is a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff whispers to you that there has been a major cyberattack on key federal financial institutions across the United States that compromised the personal financial data and passwords of hundreds of thousands of citizens.
Even though you have held office for just a few hours, you know it is critical to act swiftly and decisively so that the perpetrators of the crime, the American citizens, and political leaders (those who support you and those who do not) see you as a competent and strong leader. What are your first three actions?
In your paper, you will describe these three actions in detail. Organization is important in this paper. Make certain to include the following information in your paper, and organize major sections using headings.
Briefly describe the cyberattack and its implications for the nation.
This section should be located early in the paper (i.e., in the first or second paragraph).
Do you know who the perpetrators are?
What was the goal of the crime?
How much damage was caused?
What is your first action?
Why is this action your first? Why is it so important?
What is the goal of the action? What purpose does it serve?
What individuals, groups, or organizations does it involve?
What is your second action?
Why is this action your second? Why is it so important?
What is the goal of the action? What purpose does it serve?
What individuals, groups, or organizations does it involve?
What is your third action?
Why is this action your third? Why is it so important?
What is the goal of the action? What purpose does it serve?
What individuals, groups, or organizations does it involve?
Provide a conclusion.
What are your next steps?
Briefly describe how your actions were limited by the U.S. Constitution. For example, you may feel constrained by the other two branches—powers denied to you by the U.S. Constitution or law (e.g., declaring war or appointing to key positions in your administration loyal and trusted friends without going through the formal appointment process or the civil services system).
Your paper must be 2–4 pages in length, not counting the title page and references page. Make certain to double-space, apply 1-inch margins, and use 12-point font. Utilize headings to separate major sections of your plan (e.g., First Action, Section Action). Cite all sources in-text and on the references page using APA Style.
Your paper must be submitted to SafeAssign using the SafeAssign Originality Checker, which is software that helps identify plagiarism. The SafeAssign Originality Checker can be found within the CSU Student Portal (under your list of courses). You can submit your paper within the checker more than once. Once you receive your SafeAssign results, you can correct any areas of your paper that have too closely matched the sources you used. Your paper should not have a score higher than 40%.
In addition to your textbook readings and the unit lesson for this unit, the following resources may be helpful as you complete the assignment. As aforementioned, make certain to cite all sources—in-text and on the references page—that you use to support your work.
